Our Story
Vijaya Optical House, also known as Vijaya, is one of the oldest optical stores specialising in spectacle-making in Tamil Nadu, with an imposing market standing dating back to 1959.
Vijaya had a humble beginning as a small-scale importer, manufacturer, and wholesaler of spectacle lenses. It began with a 600 sq. ft. showroom founded in 1959 (June 5th) by the Late Shri. Jayaraman at Broadway, Chennai.
Today, Vijaya is the market’s leading specialist in prescription eyewear. It is an admired retail brand in fashion eyewear and deals in all leading brands of international sunglasses and colour cosmetic lenses. Backed by over 50 years of rich experience, it showcases a wide range of the latest designer frames and prescription lenses of all leading brands.
